The Arcane and the Obvious

No, no. I realize I am prone to bouts of radio silence. I don't mean to be so absent, but sometimes the day-to-day things are all I can manage.

Most recently I've begun a full-time contracting gig, during regular business hours. It's 3 months to start, with the potential to extend. I'm happy about the position—it's technical support, which plays to my strengths—because it looks like it will offer challenge and the ability to learn some new things.

Meanwhile, I'm still working nights and weekends at the bookstore. While this is not an ideal situation, I have been financially over-extended this year and I need to recover as quickly as possible. So most days I will be working both jobs. Randomly I will attempt to sleep and eat.

Thank you all for the help you have offered me. I am extremely grateful. I don't have words.
